Tenaya Peak (10,306 ft) is a popular rock climbing destination but not so popular for hiking because there is no official trail. You need navigation skills and cross country experiences to do this hike. We went up via climber's decent route which is a class 2-3 scrambling route and down via Midred lake which is an easy class 1 route. Distance: 6 miles Elevation gain: 2300 feet
